You don't have to use these exact combinations of fonts of course, but I wanted to kind of give an example of how fonting works. You can use a font to make just a big letter as seen on many avs, or you can use to make a large name/word and turn down opacity, or whatever effect you like.
This is just a small sample of fonts that I tend to use the most, both large and small. I beveled the bigger letters so that you can see which fonts do well most with beveling and that can also be said for shadows. Narrow fonts tend to get washed out when adding shadows.
You always want to 'check' antialias for the big/cursive fonts and 'uncheck' it for the small fonts. IF you use another type of font in small form, sometimes antialias would look better. It just depends on the font itself. The small fonts I have posted here are SPECIFICALLY pixel fonts, which do best off antialias.
Some of the big letters are J instead of S just to sort of mix it up a little. Not every letter will look good with these fonts, so you'll just have to play around with it.
